Privacy Policy

We collect information you give us directly (name, email, date of birth, photos, bio, gym details), information generated when you use the service (swipes, matches, messages), and device information (push token, approximate location when enabled).

We use your information to operate and improve the service, to show your profile to potential matches, to send push notifications about matches and messages, and to prevent fraud and abuse.

With your permission we use your device location to show gym buddies near you and to let you filter by distance. Location data is used only while the app is in use and is never sold to third parties.

Photos you upload are stored securely on Supabase Storage and are accessible only via a private URL. We do not share your photos with third parties for advertising or training purposes.

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the platform (e.g. cloud hosting, analytics), and only to the extent necessary.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our systems within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

You can access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time via the app's settings. You may also request a copy of your data by emailing privacy@spotrr.app.

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Spotrr is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or by email.
